|Tara Donovan creates art from fishing lines (left), Styrofoam cups with hot glue (middle) or ripped and stacked tarpaper (right). Her sculptural works evoke thoughts of nature. Last year she received the half-a-million dollar grant from the MacArthur Foundation. It is a no-strings-attached support of her work over five years. She was selected as one of 25 recipients (also astrophysicists, violinists, computer scientists, etc.).
