|A couple of students mashed two ideas together: 1. How can we bring back hands-on learning which is leaving the classroom (for children 8-13 years) 2. It should be fun to start a truck-based project. The solution: start hands-on workshops out of a truck. SparkTruck is containing two 3-D printers, a laser cutter, a vinyl cutter, sewing machines and a clay-oven, next to hammers and scissors, etc. It works out that rapid prototyping is the perfect complement to a child’s attention span.
