|My favourite docu at the IDFA documentary festival was about a swagger group of New Zealand oldies (age 65-96) called Hip Hop-eration, who joined the World Hip-Hop Dance Championship in 2013 (new name: Hip Op-eration, since the average age is 80 :). Nine of them are deaf, four use mobility aids and one is blind. The idea came from Billie Jordan, a young woman who took this event bloody serious. As soon as the movie was finished Kara Bang Bang (93) went trekking in the Himalayas. You’re never too old to take the first step on the journey of your life. Director Bryn Evans Trailer click here
