|This week I had the privilege to drive several new Jaguars, like the beautiful XKR and the sophisticated XJL with it’s adventuresome bright purple details, papery speedometer and 50% recycled aluminium body work. Driving with an instructor at 240 km/hr at a straight line and 160 km/hr in the 60º curves, the typical WROAAAR-sound was thrilling. At the same time there was a lack of the idea of speed: super chic. Almost all male car journalists pushed the pedal like crazy, driving 220 on the highway within seconds… Jaguar deserves a more delicate touch.
